Process 6.5: Problem resolution
| Task goals |
Timely identification of problems which can have impact on project goals. |
| Procedure |
- Project participant: Identifies problem and notifies project manager.
- Project manager: Assigns project participant to analyze problem.
- Project participant: Analyzes problem and proposes solution(s).
- Project manager: If necessary, organizes joint review to discuss problem and find solution.
- Project manager: If necessary, escalate problem resolution activities to other project participants: sponsors, customers, etc.
- Project manager: Prioritize project and makes necessary changes to the Software development plan and schedule.
- Project manager: Closes problem.
