Project participant: Identifies problem and notifies project manager.
Project manager: Assigns project participant to analyze problem.
Project participant: Analyzes problem and proposes solution(s).
Project manager: If necessary, organizes joint review to discuss problem and find solution.
Project manager: If necessary, escalate problem resolution activities to other project participants: sponsors, customers, etc.
Project manager: Prioritize project and makes necessary changes to the Software development plan and schedule.
Project manager: Closes problem.
